Records you can trust, built to be checked — not just believed.
Every message and calendar change is saved into a permanent record that can't be secretly changed. Anyone can check for themselves that a record hasn't been altered, and a sealed, dated official copy is built to prove on its own that it's genuine in court. Here is exactly how that works, in plain language — including the honest limits of what we can and can't hide.
A permanent record that only adds — it never edits or erases
Ordinary text messages can be quietly edited or deleted, so it's easy for anyone to claim a screenshot was faked. Kinbria is built so that any change to your history would show — you don't have to take our word for it.
Each entry is sealed to the one before it
Every new message or calendar change is sealed to the entry right before it, using a one-way math fingerprint (a SHA-256 hash). Together they form an unbroken chain, so changing any single item breaks every entry that comes after it — and the break is easy to spot.
The records can only be added to
Where your records are stored, entries can only be added — never rewritten or removed after the fact. This isn't just a promise we make. It's built into the way the records are saved.
A daily date stamp from outside Kinbria
Once a day, the whole record gets a trusted date stamp from an independent service outside Kinbria. That stamp means even we can't quietly roll your history back to before the last stamp — if anyone tried, it would show.
How a certified record is built for court
A certified record is a sealed, dated official copy that anyone can check. When you save one, it carries its own proof of what's in it and when it existed — built to prove on its own that it's genuine, so you shouldn't need a witness just to confirm the file is real.
Four kinds of proof, sealed into one file
Each certified copy carries proof of what it says, when it existed, and who kept it — so the file can vouch for itself.
- A digital seal. The record is closed with a digital seal. Any change to the file — even a single character — breaks the seal.
- A trusted date stamp. A trusted date stamp from an outside service proves the record existed in this exact form at a specific date and time, on a clock we don't control.
- A signed statement from us. A named records keeper at Draco Inc. certifies the record was kept as part of our normal work — built to prove on its own that it's genuine (under the Federal Rules of Evidence, 902(11), (13), and (14)).
- A short code anyone can check. Every certified record comes with a short code that anyone can check on our website — no account, no software, and no access to what the record says.
Kinbria is not a lawyer, and this is not legal advice. Whether a record is accepted is always the court's decision. What we give you is a record built to prove on its own that it's genuine, so that question is as easy as possible to answer.
Anyone can confirm a record hasn't been changed
Paste a short code at kinbria.com/verify and the checks run out in the open. The page confirms the record is genuine and unchanged — and never shows a word of what it says.
- Seal is good. The digital seal matches — the file hasn't been changed since it was certified.
- Date stamp confirmed. The trusted date stamp from an outside service is real and unchanged.
- Record is in one piece. The record's place in the sealed chain checks out from start to finish.
- Daily date stamp confirmed. The record is covered by a daily date stamp from outside Kinbria, so its history can't have been rewritten.
- Nothing private is shown. The page only confirms the record is genuine. It never shows the messages, names, or any private detail.
You can give the same code to a judge, a mediator, or the other parent's lawyer. They can check the record themselves without ever asking Kinbria — and without seeing anything you didn't share with them directly.
Strong protection, described honestly
Your conversations are encrypted (scrambled so they can't be read by others), and only a few people can ever open them. We'd rather tell you exactly what that does and doesn't mean than let a fancy phrase promise more than it should.
- Encrypted, and kept separate. Your messages are scrambled while they're stored, and every conversation has its own separate lock. Your connection is protected while messages travel to and from the app, too. Even where they're stored, one conversation can't be read next to another's.
- Only the right people can see it. A conversation can be seen by the two parents, the system owner/admin, and anyone a parent chooses to invite as a view-only guest. No one else can reach it.
Anyone outside this circle — including other Kinbria users — has no way into the conversation.
Your content is not fully private from us
Kinbria scrambles your messages and strictly limits who can open them — but it does not hide your content from us. That's a choice we made on purpose. The system owner/admin at Draco Inc. can see your content, and our servers can read your records. Both are needed for the two things people come here for: a real person who can certify a record, and a system that can build a court-ready copy that proves on its own it's genuine. If your content were fully hidden from us, neither of those would be possible.
So we won't tell you your content is hidden from Kinbria — it isn't. What we do promise: only the people listed above can see it, none of it is ever shown on the public check page, and we never sell your data or show you ads.
Built with survivors in mind
High-conflict co-parenting sometimes includes abuse. Kinbria's safety model is shaped around that reality — the goal is a tool that helps rather than exposes.
A required second sign-in step
Protected accounts use two-factor sign-in — a second step at login, on top of your password. And the sign-in screen never gives away whether an email has an account here, so someone can't fish to find out if you use Kinbria.
Invites come only from you
Only you, the account owner, can send an invite — no one can add themselves to your conversation. And there are no read-receipts, so no one can watch when you're reading.
Emergency delete & hide
If a situation turns dangerous, you can quickly hide or delete Kinbria from a device. Location check-ins are opt-in and coarse only — never precise, never on by default.
Free when it's hardest
Anyone facing hardship or domestic violence gets free access, automatically. Kinbria is free for everyone, forever — you never pay to read, export, or share your own records.
